It features 8″-diameter, hand-figured optics crafted in the USA by Celestron, and StarBright XLT high-performance multi-coatings. The 2032mm focal length (f/10) packs plenty of power for high-magnification study of lunar and planetary detail, and ample aperture for visual and photographic forays to faint nebulas and galaxies. The sturdy SkyView Pro equatorial mount has a steel-leg tripod and enclosed 360-degree worm gears plus large, 86mm-diameter setting circles for easy object location by celestial coordinates. It comes with dual manual slow-motion controls and accepts optional TrueTrack electronic drives.
